Age Spots

"Age spots" or "liver spots," also known as "solar lentigines," are brown spots on your skin which are associated with aging. They can also be caused by sun exposure, and, while benign, are unsightly and make one appear old. To prevent their occurrence or return, make sure that you wear a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 when going out in the sun. The age spots you may already have can now be treated by a variety of laser and intense light solutions offered by Dr. Dohner and his staff.
